It was one of the first truly modern fighters of the era, including such features as all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, a retractable landing gear, and was powered by a liquid-cooled, inverted-V12 aero engine. The Bf 109 was the most produced fighter aircraft in history, with a total of 33,984 airframes produced from 1936 up to April 1945. More aerial kills were made with the Bf 109 than any other aircraft of World War II. Dynam's BF-109 PNP is virtually ready for those ambitious sorties. Very Weak Weak Okay Good Very Good Over the weekend I assembled it, the instructions were terrible but I got it put together easily. Today I had my first flight with Dynam's BF109.Well it didn't work out too well. As usual I test all controls, flaps, elevator, rudder, etc, all worked perfectly. So I eased the throttle up and had a nice take off. At that moment, the plane went into an uncontrollable loop. It went straight up and looped back down then up again and repeated a few times. I tried using the elevator but it would not make a difference. Interestingly, the throttle speed did more to control the constant loops, so I eased the throttle slowly as it was coming back down and tried to do a fast belly land. The fuselage broke in three pieces, the wings fell in four pieces, canopy in in three and needless to say, the blades and motor were shot. My only guess is the motor was installed in an upright angle, I never had this happen before so now I am wary of Dynam products. It was a mess of a messerschmitt. Very Low Low Okay Good Very Good How would you rate the value of the product for the money. http://www.kfk-dekoration.dk/images/uploadedimages/copterx-b3-charger-manual.xml Very Weak Weak Okay Good Very Good While flying she looks real, some missing details are only apparent when she is on the ground.where she shouldn't be. Stalls can be tricky but are generally nice and smooth. She handles wind up to about 8 knots with ease and has no problems going headlong into it. Stunts are easy, and it's fun to practice and pretend there is a YAK behind you and your flying skills are put to the test. I cannot express how good she looks in the air, and how immersive it is to fly such a fine aircraft. The pilot is a bit small, but is suitable for use, (you cant tell when its in a screaming split-S). Aside for that the guns are mounted too far forward, but they can be cut and re-glued just fine. The only mechanical issue I had with this product was a faulty rudder servo, which Motion RC replaced mere minutes after I sent in a request. The control rods also had to be extended (by twisting, no gear required) so make sure to check the control surfaces when pulling it from the box. Also beware the stiff landing gear is easily bent on hard landings.Very Low Low Okay Good Very Good How would you rate the value of the product for the money. Very Weak Weak Okay Good Very Good Arrived with zero shipping damage and right on time per tracking info. Very nice looking airplane, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is, 1- the instructions are poor to use less at best. 2- the decals should be in German not English. I will be buying more. When you are coming into landing you wanna get a long runway so it can touch and roll for a ways so you can keep your throttle up while on final. The other thing is on final make it longer so you can find a slow speed you won't stall out on but can land. I gave it 4 starts because mine was missing the screw set for the tail section, and also for how it stalls. However the building manual pictures are black and white and you cant see them very well. And i wish that motion rc would make a video on how to build this airplane. https://labroclub.ru/blog/bose-radio-remote-control-manual Would you like to be taken to our european site instead where delivery costs to EU will be cheaper. The fuselage is considerably longer than Eflite 1200mm planes, so it is easier to see in the air when it is further away.Arrived today and I have serious doubts that this will ever be able to fly. The entire fuselage has to be reglued because it is falling apart. Retracs dont fit in the wing. I did noticed however, that the large decal sheet was missing and I took advantage of their Message link at the bottom right corner of the web page to notify them of the shortage, and the missing decal sheet arrived within a few days. In the meantime, I checked out the electronics and found that the LiPo Battery Balance Charger was not working properly. I found the manual on the internet for the balance charger and confirmed it was defective. Again I used the Message Link and also send an email with a picture of the failed charger. A brand new balance charger was sent and received a few days later. So, if you are concerned about customer service, I can verify that they respond very quickly and are pleased to help with any issues that one might have with their products. I like the value for the money that I have received from Dynam, Bitgo Hobby, and was pleased to be notified, as a news letter prescriber, of the Special that was offered when I made my purchase. At the time, any purchase of a SRTF model Bitgo Hobby would exchange the Detrum Gavin 6a Transmitter for their Detrum Gavin 8C. Well for me, that was a deal that I could not pass up. Being the owner of another Dynam airplane, Bf-110, I really like the brand because of the customizing one may chose to do to their airplanes, and parts are available. It was one of the most advanced fighters of its day and a powerful piece of hardware for the German military war machine. Durafly has accurately reproduced the plane in two stunning schemes. The Bf-109e was a fierce adversary for allied fighters such as the Hawker Hurricane and the legendary Supermarine Spitfire. With its lightweight design, retractable landing gear, destructive 20mm cannons, powerful Daimler-Benz liquid-cooled fuel-injected inverted V12 the Bf-109e would have made the Luftwaffe pilot feel nearly invincible. The Durafly team has worked extremely hard to bring you the Bf-109e which is undoubtedly the best looking RC Bf-109e ever made. The Durafly Bf-109e has a modest 1100mm wingspan, scale electronic retracting landing gear, scale flaps, and a powerful brushless outrunner motor spinning a three-bladed scale propeller. Power is provided by an AeroStar 3736-770KV motor, AeroStar 50A ESC and when combined with a 2200mAh 4S Lipo battery this gives an outstanding performance to this agile WW2 fighter. There is even a fully functional bomb drop system complete with a scale bomb. Please, log in or register Please, sign in or sign up I have replaced both the elevator and rudder servos with better quality metal gear units. I would rather pay a little extra to have good quality electronic components, especially for the control surfaces, if the elevator servo had failed during flight it would have been game over. The retractable undercarriage not only looks good but works very well, and the bomb drop mechanism also works very well and adds to the overall scale look of the model, as do the 3 position flaps, over all I'm very happy with it, apart from the poor quality servos, hopefully DuraFly will use better quality units in future.Very smooth epo surface, very good paint, very good details. A great looking model at a great price. I flew it with 4S 2200. Flight time about 7 minutes.Very satisfied, definitely recommendable. What I don't like are the weak plastic gears on the servo, which I broke during transportation. The model is exceptional in terms of flight technology. It is one of the fastest warbird machines in the size that I know of and yet easy to land. I would recommend it to anyone with some experience and looking for some excitement. And it looks great! Durafly created a model of the BF-109E-4, these flew during the Battle for Britain. The question is, will it fly at your airfield. Before we had to the airfield. How good is the aircraft. Specs: Wing Span 1100mm Motors Aerostar 3736-770KV Props 11.5x8 3-Blade Recommended Battery 2200mAh 4S LiPo Channels Throttle, Ailerons, Elevator, Rudder, Flaps, Retracts, Bomb Drop The plane comes in two different schemes. Both desert camo and the yellow nose. It is fantastic seeing a company produce the desert camo version of this plane. It is harder to find a model with that scheme. Durafly did an excellent job in packages the plane. The foam packaging is model well around the parts and has soft foam blankets keep parts from rubbing each other. The aircraft arrived undamaged. The coming out and getting ready to be assembled gorgeous. Durafuly's team took their time getting the detail correct on this plane. However, something was missing. The manual was not included, we guess it is expected to be downloaded from their website. After getting the plane put together, which was a simple process. We begin to grasp the details of the aircraft. The plane lines are well done, several options for decals and small features add a really nice touch to this plane. The mechanized bomb drop will be surprising to use at the airfield. The maiden didn't go as well. The big issue with BF-109 is the landing gear. The landing with being a short wheelbase which makes it squirrel on the ground. Create An Account Here. Among the crew was Bobby Guarisco, Nitroplanes' marketing manager as well as the sponsorship and promotions manager for their Gens Ace division. So, Bobby later contacted me through RCGroups to ask if I'd review this new model. As in the case of the Gee Bee, Dynam's rendition represents an actual aircraft. The plane was later used in the famous motion picture Battle of Britain and was disguised as a P-51 Mustang for use in another motion picture when it was damaged in a crash during takeoff.Ambitious buyers in Germany bought the plane with plans to restore it to full WWII BF-109 specs, eventually moving it to the Messerschmitt plant beginning in 1998. It took 30,000 hours of work over six years to bring Rote Sieben or Red Seven back to flying condition, only to have it damaged yet again when the gear collapsed. The foundation enters it in shows all across Europe with pilot Walter Eichhorn at the controls. Someone in Nitroplanes' shipping department was kind enough to open the box and place two extra Sky Lipo brand 2200mAh 4S 30C batteries and the charging cable inside the small plastic bag at left before carefully repacking everything. More on that later. They won't prove to be a problem with someone experienced in assembling an ARF, but they're somewhat annoying nonetheless. They have the same connector as the Dynam pack, so it's simply a matter of applying some hook-and-loop fastener to the underside (not included), charging up and hitting the skies. They're also rated at 30C instead of 25C with a 60C burst rating. Not too bad for just over twenty-five bucks apiece. Note the lack of connectors on the leads for the LEDs. That will soon be taken care of. Before I was done, I had them working by wiring them in parallel to a servo connector for use in one of the open auxillary channels on the receiver. They were just too cool not to fire up, but they aren't particularly bright. The red LED on the belly wouldn't light, either. In fact, I can't recall ever having seen more on molded foam parts. At least they're on the underside and will be invisible in flight. If I ever upgrade the radio, I'll almost certainly add flaps and perhaps a bit of green chromate paint to the cut foam. Mounting pins and a recessed mounting area make for a good fit.In it, he suggests cutting a hole in the fuselage in the scoop's recess before actually installing the scoop. This makes the scoop functional rather than simply cosmetic and helps to cool the ESC and battery in flight. It's a brilliant idea and one which should be addended to the manual. I'd already glued the scoop in place before learning of the modification, but since I had attached it with the contact cement, I was able to carefully remove it, cut the hole and glue it back down.Cutting a hole in the fuselage behind where it mounts makes the scoop functional. A 3M double-sided tape square is already mounted beneath the receiver, ready to be affixed once everything is connected and ready. Once the receiver was mounted, I taped down the twin aerials at 90 degrees from one another. There isn't anything specific in the manual regarding aerial placement, but virtually all twin aerial receivers I've encountered have this recommendation.A plane with the potential of the BF-109 needs a full-range receiver like this one. The RF choke is already installed and the ESC plugged into the proper channel, but it will need to be unplugged in order to install the signal amplifier. I used some medium foam-safe CA and kicker to reattach the seam, but there wasn't much I could do about the smudges.Since this is a warbird and not a Scale Masters entry, the flaws add some character. The screws seem to help hold the wing against the saddle more than anything else.So too are more of the myriad ejection marks. The Pacer canopy glue assured a neat, run-free job. Some name-brand harnesses might be in order here and are cheap insurance. There's no mention of it in the manual and no addendum; I assumed it might have been a device used to slow down the retracts for more scalelike operation. The device is an amplifier, used to eliminate a low-speed stutter in the motor due to a slightly weak signal from the ESC. It simply plugs in between the ESC and the receiver.A scale radio antenna is glued behind the canopy, but the fit was a bit loose on mine. I opted for a dab of CA in this case.Honestly, this is the sort of thing that a simple proofread would have caught. Had I not seen that the horns were not in place, it would have been far more difficult to install them later.I installed it the traditional way with some petroleum jelly to protect the hinges from being glued by the CA.I wiped it up as best I could, expecting the worst cosmetically. It isn't perfect, but it could have been a lot worse. The servo arms should have been removed and reinstalled in a different orientation, but they were impossible to remove without risking some damage to the wing. The rotary knob on the upper left is a sub trim for the ailerons.

I picked dynam cause I wanted something different from the Eflite line of warbirds and I will never buy Dynam again. Be the first to ask here. Buy one today, you will not be disappointed. My thanks to Dr. Jing Li for his support and excellent customer service. Product Manual Come and share your flight photos with the world!
