You can set the difficulty to amateur and the AI Scoring to normal in the game settings menu to help make it easier if you want. After you complete Q-School, you will be asked how many rounds you wish to play for each tournament. I recommend setting the number of rounds to 1 and Live Weather ON. You are only able to change these settings before the start of each season. If you decide to play more than 1 round per tournament, you are able to simulate rounds to progress faster if you want. While on that tour you will only have to meet 1 of 3 requirements to advance on. They are: You have to finish in the top 25. You must either: You start off with a sponsor from EA SPORTS and from there must unlock the other 5 by placing well in your tournaments. You can go into the sponsors menu and scroll over each sponsor and click to see the requirements you must meet in order to unlock them for use during the TOUR. You will have to reach level 4 with all sponsors in order to unlock the HAMMERhead Prototype Clubs. There are 4 sponsors that after you reach level 4, you have to play in a Major with them equipped in order to unlock a trophy. You can go back to that sponsor at any time should you not want to wait until a Major comes around. It is recommended that you move from sponsor to sponsor as soon as they are completed. Even if you are still level 1 and having a tough time and want to go to a different one, you may have already unlocked requirements for level 2 and level 3 that you are unaware of. Once you reach a new level though, if you should leave them, when you return to them you will still be that level you will not have to restart at level 1. I also recommend that after you reach level 4 you go onto the next sponsor instead of waiting for the next Major. Also you can only complete objectives for Sponsors while playing in Tournaments in Road to the Masters. As you advance in your career you may come across some tournaments that do not offer sponsor challenges. The game says that there are 99 of them to compete in, but you will only have to finish around 50 to 55 of them to unlock all the items in the Pro Shop. These will earn you XP and also some count towards course mastery depending on the challenge. None are difficult and you can replay challenges if you fail. Note: If you have unlocked everything in the Pro Shop before you complete the PING objective for beating 5 sponsored challenges you can still get the trophy as long as you have not completed all 99 challenges. NOTE: You can not unlock silver objectives until after you earn a bronze course mastery for that course. Your stats will only count towards the pin totals while playing with your created golfer, I would also suggest trying to accomplish all of them while in Road to the Masters mode. Look under the Pin Collector Trophy for tips on how to collect them. There are 9 of these that you will have to beat. While competing in these events you will use your created golfer so I would suggest completing these after you have unlocked the Prototype Clubs and Outfits. Also by waiting to do this last you most likely will at least have a silver course mastery on Augusta, alowing your caddie to give you better shot suggestions. Next Set the Win Conditions to anything you want. After that go to Post Challenge, the trophy will unlock a couple seconds later. For some reason the game doesn’t count the weeks from going from one year to the next towards this trophy. You will have to post the same score Tiger did for each day of the tournament or score better. If you are unable to beat the score for that day you will have to replay that day. Ad Wizard Play in a Major with Callaway Golf Level 4 Sponsorship equipped You will want to go into the Sponsor Menu and press on Callaway to equip them. Next you will want to press while on Callaway to go into the pro shop. Go to the following clubs and press to select them for use. Diablo Edge Driver, Diablo Edge Fairway Woods, and the Callaway HX Bite (golf ball). As soon as you reach level 2 sponsorship you will want to go back into the Pro Shop and equip the Diablo Edge Irons to use. Below is a list of the requirements to reach level 4 with Callaway. When you do reach level 4 just play in any of the 4 Majors, the trophy unlocks after the tournament is over. Choke Artist Land within 1 yard of the flagstick on a choked approach shot from at least 50 yards out. First press to disable your caddie. You will want to press to see where your shot is going to go. You can also move around to put loft on the ball while keeping the swing percent at 100. Make sure to account for the wind and give it a good swing. After you hit the ball while it is in the air you can hold the button in any direction and rapidly tap to give the ball spin, this will help it roll towards the hole if you shoot to long or short. You can not get this while teeing off on Par 3’s, but you are able to get this while teeing off on the Augusta Par 3 Course. Masters Legend Win the Green Jacket for a Record 7 times in Road to the Masters mode (1) Just win the Masters tournament 7 times. You do not have to win it 7 straight years. Theres really no tips to help you out except play on amateur and AI scoring Normal. As you gain XP and improve your caddie you will have an easier time playing the course. Commercial Icon Play in a Major with Nike Level 4 Sponsorship equipped Nike will take the most time to reach level 4 with and also requires you to get a hole in one, you should wait until you reached level 4 with all the other sponsors before you choose Nike. To activate them go into the Sponsors Menu and press on them. Also go into the Pro Shop by pressing while on Nike. You will want to equip the following items: SQ Machspeed STR9-FIT Driver, SQ Machspeed Fairway Woods, Method - 001 Classic Blade, and Crush (golf ball). Once you reach Level 2 sponsorship with Nike you will want to go back into the Pro Shop and equip the Victory Red Forged Wedge also. Be sure to save your changes after you leave the Pro Shop. After you reach Level 4 just compete in any of the 4 Majors for the trophy. Egg on the Dance Floor Sink a 30ft putt without boosting the green read If you are playing on Amateur difficulty all you have to do is sink a putt from 30ft or further away from the hole. If you land within 30ft of the hole you can just face the opposite direction and putt away from the hole until you are at your desired distance. You are able to use putt preview to help you out. If you are playing on any other difficulty when you get onto the green make sure you do not hit. If you do you will not be able to earn this trophy for that hole. First Time EVER!! Win both the Par 3 and the Masters on the same week. (In Road to the Masters) You can not compete in the Par 3 or The Masters unless you are ranked in the EA SPORTS Top 100, or complete all 9 Master Moments. As long as you win the 3 tournaments you are able to compete in before The Masters you will be in the Top 100. Then just win both of them in the same week and the trophy will unlock. The Par 3 is located under the Sponsor Challenge for The Masters, to win the Par 3 your first year you will only have to finish with a score of -1 or better. Give me the Goodies. Win a Sponsored Challenge Event in Road to the Masters mode After you start your career in Road to the Masters go to Play Next Event. This will take you to your season schedule, just go to a tournament you are eligible to compete in and press. This will bring up a menu before your tournament with three options to choose from. Move to Sponsor and play the round, the trophy will unlock after you win the challenge. If you fail the challenge you are able to replay the event as many times as you want until you start the first round of the tournament. There are 6 different Master Tournaments for you to compete in, just choose any one you want. After you start to play the first round the trophy will unlock during the loading screen. Sponsorship is Calling Play in a Major with Cleveland Golf Level 4 Sponsorship equipped Cleveland Golf will be your first sponsor once you reach the PGA TOUR. Go into the Sponsor menu and press on them to set as your primary sponsor. After that you will want to press to go into the Pro Shop. Go to the Cleveland Classics Blade Putter and press. Once you reach Level 3 sponsorship you will want to go back into the Pro Shop and equip the CG Tour Irons. Once you are Level 4 just compete in any of the 4 Majors. This is a fairly easy sponsor to reach Level 4 on and shouldn’t take you long. Below is a list of all the objectives you must meet to reach Level 4. Road to the Masters Win the Green Jacket in Road to the Masters mode You can get this while also going for the First Time EVER!! trophy. When competing in The Masters spin boosting will be disabaled. It shouldn't be too hard to win your first year, but if you are having trouble just wait untill season 2 after you imporoved your golfer. Shark Attack! Equip a HAMMERhead Prototype Club You will have to reach Level 4 sponsorship with EA SPORTS, Cleveland Golf, TaylorMade, Callaway, PING, and Nike. After you reach Level 4 with all of the Sponsors go into the Pro Shop and click on the Prototype Equipment Tab, select any HAMMERhead Prototype Club and Press to equip it. The trophy will unlock a couple seconds later, you don't have to save the club to your golfer. NOTE: If Nike is the last sponsor you need level 4 with you can get this trophy once you reach level 3, you will have all the Irons unlocked. Winner! And Still. Defend your title in any Major This has to be done in Road to the Masters. First you need to become eligible to compete in Majors by becoming ranked inside the top 100 in the EA SPORTS Golf Rankings or Completing all 9 Master Moments. After that you will have to win one of the Majors during the PGA TOUR season and then win the same tournament the next year. There are 4 Majors to compete in every year, they are the US OPEN Championship, the UK OPEN, the EA SPORTS Championship, and The Masters. Who's your Caddie?! Complete the Prologue As soon as the game starts you watch a brief video of players competing in The Masters. At the end of it you take control of Tiger Woods and have to play the 18th hole. After you finish the hole you will get the trophy. If somehow you miss this at the main menu click while on Road to the Masters to create a new golfer, it will then ask you if you want to view the prologue before creating your new golfer, choose yes. Tiger Quickness Use the new Speed Play option in game Just tap after any shot to skip it and the trophy will unlock. DO NOT HOLD. Tournament Pro Complete an 18 hole round under par with Tournament Difficulty turned ON (1) You can only get this trophy while playing in a tournament during your Road to the Masters Season. Then change difficulty to Tournament. After you finish the first hole press and go to Save and Quit, then choose Yes. Go Back into the options and change the difficulty back to Amateur and then return to the tournament. Make sure you choose to Resume and then just finish the tournament with an under par score. After you choose to compete in one of them the trophy will unlock as the game is loading. For the quickest way go under Match Sessions click on Foursomes, now change the Game Type to None and press. You will want to change all the events to None except the last event. Click on Singles and change the Game Type to Foursomes, set the Matches to 1. You can Change the Course and any other options you want. Then begin The Presidents Cup and win. You will be able to choose any clip you want to compete against. Beating challenges that no one has yet will earn you double the GamerNet points. Another way to earn GamerNet Points is to just play your career and beat posted challenges for the hole you are currently playing. Even if you do not beat GammerNet challenges you will still be awarded points if you come close to them. Drop and give me 15 Earn 15 pins See Pin Collector for more information. Pin Collector Earn All pins In order to get this trophy you must collect all 44 of the pins in the game. The majority of the pins will come as you work your way through Road to the Masters. You can get the 25 aces and Master Moments pins afterwards. See list below: 250 Birdies - Get 250 career birdies Should come naturally before the end of your first year 100 Eagles - Get 100 career eagles You might not get this till the end of your 2nd year or even early into your 3rd. 25 Aces - Get 25 career Aces Your best bet is to wait till the end of your career and then just go into course mastery and play hole 4 from Augusta with Sunday Pin Location and Calm weather. 18 Birdie Streak - get 18 birdies in a row. You should get this sometime during your career but if you are having trouble, just hit and save and exit a hole if you aren't going to make a birdie on it. Then reload the tournament. Eagle Extravaganza - Get 4 eagles in a round Do the same as back to back eagles except choose all Par 5's and eagle them. Not all courses have 4 Par 5's. Your best bet is to play Pebble Beach. Hazard Free Round - No water, bunker, out of bounds, or lateral hazards for an entire round You should get a some point throughout your career. If not just, save and quit and reload the tournament if you should hit the ball into any hazards. No Focus - use no focus during a round You will get this Pin when you get the Tournament Pro trophy. Presidents Cup - start the Presidents Cup Go into Quick Play and Select Presidents Cup, just start the tournament and then exit out you will have the pin. Caddie Book of Gold - Master 16 Courses This will come with the Caddie with a Masters Degree Trophy Prototype - unlock the prototype clubs After you reach level 4 sponsorship with all your sponsors you will get this pin. Course Master Master 1 course See Caddie with a Master's Degree for more information. Born with Skillz Master 8 courses See Caddie with a Master's Degree for more information. Caddie with a Master's Degree Master 16 courses The regular editon of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12: The Masters comes with 16 courses, you don't have to buy any additional courses for this trophy. In order to Master a course you must first complete bronze objectives, then silver objectives, and finally gold objectives. It will list the objectives left for you to complete, if you are in a tournament you can press and then go to Caddies Book and hit there will be a course mastery tab with the objectives there also. Just take your time and be sure to follow your caddies suggested shots. Also you can go into Course Mastery and Play this course with different pin locations and sunny and calm weather if you want. Bronze: 4 Foot Putt Par Round 3 GIR's in a Round 22 or Less Putts in a Round 2 Birdies in a Round 2 Birdie streak Silver: 10 Foot Putt 3 Under Par Round 6 GIR's in a Round 17 or Less Putts in a Round 4 Birdies in a Round 4 Birdie Streak One Putt Streak of 3 Gold: 16 Foot Putt - just hit and go to a custom shot, aim so you are not near the hole and then sink your putt. If you are too close you can putt away from the hole untill you are 16 feet away. 6 Under Par Round 9 GIR's in a Round - don't worry so much about getting close to the hole, just try and get the ball on the green even if its at the other side from the pin. 12 or Less Putts in a Round 8 Birdies in a Round - Thursday flagsticks put all the pins in decent locations for you to land close too. 6 Birdie Streak - you will get this with the 8 birdies in a round objective Hole in one - this may take you some time but not to difficult to accomplish. To get this faster play The Par 3 challenge in the Sponsor Challenge event during The Masters Week. If you don't get a hole in one on the first hole press and restart event, after you make a hole in one just finish the challenge. Just make sure when you tee off that you are using a club that was recommended by you caddie. Press to see where the shot will end up, from there you can put spin on the ball while it is in the air by holding in the direction you want the spin to go and rapidly pressing. As you get better at the courses your caddie will line up a hole in one for you. Aspiring Amateur Complete the EA SPORTS AM TOUR In order to complete the EA SPORTS AM TOUR you must meet 1 of 3 requirements. They are Win 1 event, Finish 3 events placing in the top 10, or Finish all Amateur events. We've Only Just Begun Compete in a Nationwide Tour event You will get this as you start your first Nationwide Tour event. You are able to compete in the Nationwide Tour after you finish the EA SPORTS AM TOUR. Earned my Card! Complete Q-School (2) In order to compete in Q-School you must pass the Nationwide Tour, then just finish in the Top 25 and you will recieve this trophy once the tournaments over. Ping Pitchman Play in a Major with PING Level 4 Sponsorship equipped (4) Go into your Sponsor Menu and press to activate PING as your sponsor. Next you will want to press and head to the Pro Shop. Choose the following clubs, G15 Irons, iN Series Anser Putter, and the G15 Fairway Woods. Make sure to choose Yes when you exit so it saves your changes. After you reach Level 4 compete in any of the Majors to unlock this trophy after the tournament. HAMMERhead Swag Equip a HAMMERhead Prototype Outfit Before every tournament there is a sponsor challenge. There are supposedly 99 challenges but you will only have to complete about 50-55 of them to unlock everything. None of them are too difficult and if you fail you can retry them as many times as you want. As you get into your 3rd year on the PGA TOUR you won't have as many before each tournament but don't worry. Training Wheels Win a training event in Road to the Masters mode When you go into play your next tournament you have 3 options to choose from, just play the training event and win. If you are having trouble beating the CPU wait untill you get farther into your career. I Got This From the Fairway, land within 1 yard of the flagstick from 100 yards out using a Custom shot. You can not get this trophy if you are teeing off or if you are in the rough. Once on the fairway you will want to press to see where your shot is going to end up you can use and to switch between clubs if your too far from the hole. Make sure you account for the wind when lining up for your shot also if its raining you wont get too much of a friendly roll to put it within a yard of the pin. You can put choke on the club also and go for the Choke Artist trophy at the same time. After you reach 1st place you should play in the next 10 tournaments to make sure you get the 1 is the lonliest number trophy and to gain a good size lead over second. For every tournament i competed in i skiped a tournament and was still able to keep 1st throughout the year. At one point i was 14 average points ahead of second place and was able to skip 6 tournaments in a row. You should always check the Rankings before you decide to skip tournaments, I wouldn't skip any if second place is within 5 avg.Secret Trophies FIR Land the ball on the Fairway after your tee shot. You can not get a FIR on a Par 3. GIR Land the ball on the Green with at least 2 fewer strokes than par. Getting onto the green off the tee on a Par 3 will earn you a GIR. I AM CADDIE! Accept and follow thru on 25 Caddie Suggestions in an 18 hole round of golf Just use the shot you caddie suggests to you for every shot. Only shots using your driver, woods or irons count towards the 25 shot total. Putts do not count towards the total. Even if you don’t hit your shot with the exact power percent your caddie suggests it still counts towards the 25. You will want to pay attention to the power percent though so you don’t end up over shooting the green or fairway. If you want to keep track of your total shots just take the score from that hole and subtract the number of putts it took you on that hole. So if you shoot a 4 and have 1 putt you have 3 shots towards the 25 needed. Most likely you will earn this around the 13th or 14th hole. Also your caddies suggested shots factor in weather conditions. From there you will want to set all 4 golfers as Tiger Woods. Set the Course to Augusta National and then go into Course Options. You will want to set the Weather to Sunny, Wind to Calm, Tee Select to Members, Hole Select to Custom Select and Flagstick Select to Sunday. Press this will bring up a list of all the holes, go down to hole 4 and press then. Then go to Play Now, you will have 4 shots at getting a hole in one, your caddie should have you pretty lined up to make this shot you may have to add just a little front spin. Masters Master Master Augusta National, Augusta Par 3 (Gold Course Mastery) (2) Like the description says you must get Gold Course Mastery on both Augusta courses. More than likely the Augusta Par 3 will give you trouble while going for Gold Course Mastery. You are unable to save and quit a hole while playing the Par 3 so make sure to take your time and follow your caddies suggestions. To view a list of what is needed to get Gold Course Mastery on both of these courses see the Caddie with a Master’s Degree trophy. New Record Holder! Beat the course record of 63 at the Masters (In Road to the Masters) You have to shoot a score of 62 (-10) or better in order to get this trophy, also you can only get this trophy while playing in The Masters tournament In Road to the Masters mode. In order to compete in The Masters you have to be in the Top 100 of the EA SPORTS Golf Rankings or need to pass all 9 Master Moments. While playing in the Masters you are unable to use any kind of boost to help you out. Try to follow your caddies suggested shots, if you are unable to get this your first year on tour don’t worry as you upgrade your golfers stats this will be easier for you to get. You will need to earn 3 pins before you will be able to get this trophy. Pins you earned will be colored while pins you haven’t earned yet will be faded. Just use the d-pad and go to pins you have earned and press. On the left of your screen you will see a badge with an EA SPORTS logo in the middle. After you apply a pin you should see it on your badge, as soon as you apply 3 pins the trophy will unlock a couple seconds later. Short But Sweet Beat the course record of 20 at Augusta Par 3 This can be done in any game mode. In order to get this you must shoot a score of 19 (-8). The easiest way is to go into Play Now set the Course to Augusta Par 3 and then go into Course Options. Set the Weather to Sunny, Wind to Calm and Tee Select to Members. You can also change the Course Conditions if you wish, the Flagstick Select doesn't matter as the holes are located in the same spot no matter what day you choose. Just be sure that you leave Mulligans turned off or you will not be able to earn this trophy.
